Hunger and chronic malnutrition are on the rise in Zimbabwe, the UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs has said that the condition is really bad. The ministry is working in conjunction with the nutrition cluster of organisations in the country that include UN Children’s Fund, International Organisation for Migration, Goal, World Vision, the World Food Programme and Plan International. The condition is very miserable there. It is a matter of deep concern for the government and it is very necessary to curb this problem of malnutrition and related issues, as soon as possible.

On Friday at the tea party Michele Bachmann’s campaign struck back. At the tea party the affiliated group persuaded the Minnesota congresswoman to end her presidential run. The candidate herself suggested that the rival candidate Rick Perry can be behind the ambush. On the channel CNN’s show ‘The Situation Room’, Bachmann said, “People have told us, that these are Perry supporters and they went out with this and this was meant to be a stealth move and it was clumsy. If Governor Perry has something to stay to me, he can come out to the debates and he can say it.” Spokesman for Perry, Mark Miner in an email written to CBN news and The National journal as a response, he denied that the Texas governor’s camp had any relation or link with the call made to Michele Bachmann asking her to quit. He said, “We learned about this through media reports today and had nothing to do with the group’s decision.”
